Lend a hand.  Dry a tear.  Share a smile.  Make a difference!  The kindness of just one volunteer is immeasurable.  But the effects are incredibly pervasive.

Without the scores of dedicated volunteers at University Hospitals Elyria Medical Center, we just wouldn't be the same.  Our volunteers tell us they wouldn't either.  They enjoy staying active, being needed, meeting new people and in some instances, learning new skills.

• If you're an "on the go" person, join our team delivering flowers and discharging patients.
• Dream of being a "personal shopper"? Become a cashier in our Gift Shoppe assisting customers with special purchases.
• If working behind the scenes is more your style, there are plenty of light office duties such as filing, folding, stuffing and copying.
• Enjoy the limelight?  Consider assisting visitors, answering phones and providing updates to waiting families.
